first-class

We only recruit the best carers.

Selection process

We are careful to select staff who clearly demonstrate to us in their application that they have the right attitude and potential for a role in care. We interview each member of the team to talk with them about their experience and aspirations.

Background checks

Each newly recruited carer undergoes a Disclosure and Barring Services check to ensure that they are safe to work with vulnerable adults. This is repeated every three years. We also speak to previous employers for references.

Regular training

Employees will have a personal development plan designed for them, based around consolidation of existing skills, the development of new skills relating to their day-to-day role, and the development of skills that contribute to long-term goals.

Ongoing support

We are always on hand to offer support and guidance to our carers - whether that be through supervision sessions where we evaluate how things are going, or by accompanying carers to their visits to shadow their work.
